How long have you worked at Scott Pallets? 7+ Years
How did you get into your role? Through a friend who already worked within the business. I was brought in as temporary cover, and 7 years later am still here – I enjoyed and still enjoy building a good relationship with our customers.
Walk us through a typical day at work: Building relationships with current and new customers to understand their needs and objectives, and look at ways in which we can improve on their current pallet solution; this will be achieved through regular meetings and site visits. During the day I will also be quoting on new opportunities, as well as looking at current designs to ensure we are maximising their potential. Other projects include exploring services that we can offer to help move our customers closer towards their sustainability goals. I will work collaboratively between customers and internal sites to ensure risk management is kept low and that we are well positioned for future requirements.
What was your first paying job? Hairdressing
What do you like to do outside of work? I like to go swimming, and enjoy going on walks with my dog. I catch up with friends and family as much as I can, and of course, love a bit of Retail therapy.
Do you have any pets? I have a pug (Dog) called Betty
Are you a sports fan? Who are your favourite teams? Yes, I enjoy watching most sports. I support Manchester United (Football).
Where do you see yourself progressing within Scott Pallets / and or wider group businesses? I am excited by the many opportunities within our group and look forward to continuing my growth and gaining further experience in the business.
